Delivery Manager – Data & Digital Projects (Kanban)

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of our Data Platform initiative while supporting other high-impact digital transformation projects. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrates strong Kanban delivery expertise, and effectively coordinates stakeholders across technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of data and digital projects using Kanban methodologies

Manage workflow, priorities, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies

Drive delivery visibility through Jira boards, dashboards, and performance metrics

Facilitate Kanban ceremonies including stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives

Coordinate across Data Engineering, Product, IT Operations, vendors, and country MFIs

Provide clear weekly delivery updates and escalate risks where required

Ensure adherence to delivery governance, quality standards, and documentation requirements

Requirements

Minimum of 5+ years’ experience delivering technology projects, preferably data projects

Strong hands-on experience with Kanban or hybrid Agile delivery models

High proficiency in Jira and Atlassian tools

Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

Excellent communication, organization, and adaptability skills

Exposure to data platforms, cloud, or digital solutions is an added advantage

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field

Agile or delivery certifications such as Kanban, PMP, PRINCE2, or AgilePM are an advantage
